Candidate Status in Blackbaud: Changing your Account Password/Forgotten Password
With the new Blackbaud ID requirements for Single Sign-On enforced in September 2024, your candidate email account password can no longer be reset with the help of NCSSM.
With the requirement that you use a Gmail or Apple account as an external applicant, you will need to reset the Apple/Gmail account password outside of Blackbaud using the instructions below:
After resetting your password on that end, you should be able to log into Blackbaud with the SSO portal presented below. Note that candidates/applicants cannot use the NCSSM login yet since the email you applied with is external to our systems, so be sure to select Continue with Google or Continue with Apple

For applicants that have forgotten their password to Blackbaud, please see the following steps:
On the login page at https://ncssm.myschoolapp.com/, and noticing your current password not working or forgetting your password, please type in your email and then hit the NEXT button.
IMPORTANT: Please be sure you have your email typed out in order to be directed to the proper page for password resets. Otherwise, it’ll give you a standard message if you select the Forgot login or First time logging in link? that won’t be helpful to candidate profiles.

4. You will have 10 minutes to take the 6 digit code from your email:
5. and once you enter the 6 digit code in, Blackbaud will allow you to reset your NCSSM account’s password and get you back in to see your Application Checklist.
