Connect to virtual desktop using VMware Horizon app

Please use the following instructions to use the VMware Horizon app to access virtual desktops at NCSSM.

Note: This is only for use with IVC schools for which accounts and virtual machines have been created. For questions and more information, please send ITS a Ticket.

Instructions

  1. Download the VMware Horizon app for Win/Mac/Linux/ChromeOS/iOS/Android here: https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/downloads/info/slug/desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_horizon_clients/horizon_7_5_0

  2. Open the installer and follow the installation instructions.

  3. Open VMware Horizon Client.

  4. Use this server address: https://vdi-uag.ncssm.edu.

  5. Log in using your provided NCSSM credentials.

  6. Select NCSSM-IVC VDI.
