Changing your password

Please use the following instructions to change your password.

Note: Please be aware that once you have changed your NCSSM password, you will need to also update your saved password information for Wi-Fi and email access on all of your devices, including smartphones, tablets, etc. If you do not update them quickly, it is likely that your account will be locked by repeated failed login attempts.


  1. In your web browser of choice, navigate to:

  2. Type in your NCSSM username and password and click Sign in. If you have forgotten your password, please see this article on resetting your password.

    Note: If you don't remember your username or have difficulty resetting your password, then you'll need to contact ITS to get it reset. See below for instructions on how to do so.

  3. If logging into this password management site for the first time, you will be asked to answer several security questions so that you can reset the password yourself in the future using the Forgotten Password button.

  4. At the home page, please click on the tile that says Change Password (see below).

  5. For the New Password, type in the same password that you would like to use, with a minimum length of 10 characters. For Confirm Password, type the same thing. 

  6. Click the Change Password button to save your password.

  7. As a test, go to and try your username and password. It should work. If not, please let us know by creating a help ticket using the below instructions.
