Reset Network Settings - Android

If you are connected to the NCSSM network on your Android-based device and are not able to establish an internet connection, please try the following instructions.

Reset Network Settings

If restarting your device does not resolve your connection issue, try the following method to reset your device's network settings:

Android 8.0+

  1. Find and tap SettingsNetwork & Internet.

  2. Tap the menu button (three vertical dots) > Network settings reset > RESET SETTINGS

Android 7.0, 7.1 or 7.1.1

  1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.

  2. Find and tap SettingsMore.

  3. Find and tap Network settings reset, then tap RESET SETTINGS.

Android 6.0

  1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.

  2. Find and tap Settings > Backup & reset > Network settings reset.

  3. Find and tap RESET SETTINGS.

Note: This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.
