The following guides will help you set up your course in Canvas, prepare to meet in Zoom, and use helpful teaching tools to engage students.

Returning Teachers

Use the following guide to copy your previous course into your new blank course shell. If you do not have access to your previous course, or you need special assistance, please contact us.

New Teachers

You will be provided with a course template in Canvas that you can use to get started building your course.

If you are new to Canvas, we recommend completing the interactive Canvas Orientation.

Then, we recommend the Canvas Getting Started Tutorials, especially the tutorials for:

Teaching more than one Accelerator Course

If you are teaching the same Accelerator course more than once, we recommend only setting up the first course initially. You can then import the first course into the second course shell prior to teaching the second course.

If the courses do not overlap, we recommend completing the first course completely before importing it into the second course shell.
