Capture GPS Coordinates (iOS)

This guide explains how to use the Pure GPS app on iOS to capture coordinates and export them as a GPX file.

Instructions

1. Open the Pure GPS app and choose Waypoints
   
   

   Open

   

2. Be sure to delete the “Apple” waypoint before adding your own.

3. Choose Add Current Position
   
   

   Open

   

4. Give your waypoint a name and choose to add it. (Be sure to choose the option your teacher recommends for Deg/Min or Deg/Min/Sec)
   
   

    

5. Keep adding waypoints until complete. Then dismiss the bottom guide in order to access the settings.
   
   

    

6. Choose Settings
   
   

    

7. On the settings screen, choose to Email Waypoints
   
   

    

8. Enter your email address. Pure GPS will attach a GPX file to the email it sends you.
