The following guides will help you set up your course in Canvas, prepare to meet in Zoom, and use helpful teaching tools to engage students.

Logging in to Canvas
Getting your Canvas Course Ready for Students
To help make your course preparation as smooth and seamless as possible, we are using ReadyGo Instructor in Canvas. ReadyGo is a course-readiness assistant designed to guide you step-by-step through setting up your course using interactive checklists and alert notifications.
How to get started:
Log into Canvas and look for the ReadyGo Instructor link near the bottom of your course menu.
Open the link to view your customized Checklists and Tasks (as well as any helpful Alerts about missing items).
Click on individual tasks to view detailed instructions, and check them off as you complete them.
Need help along the way? > Instead of emailing the TLC team, you can use ReadyGo’s built-in Chat tab! You can ask general questions or message an instructional designer directly inside a specific task for quick, context-aware support without ever leaving Canvas.

Returning Teachers
Use the following guide to copy your previous course into your new blank course shell. If you do not have access to your previous course, or you need special assistance, please contact us.
New Teachers
You will be provided with a course template in Canvas that you can use to get started building your course.
