If a Clear Touch display is behaving unreliably, you may need to power it fully off using the power switch hidden beneath the underside of the display.

Note: These photos are for the model of Clear Touch display installed on the Durham campus in the summer of 2020. The location of the switch on older or newer models may vary somewhat.

Instructions

  1. Under the left-hand side of the Clear Touch display, find where the power cable is attached to the display. Just to its left is the power switch.

  2. Flip the power switch from the right side (ON) to the left side (OFF).

  3. Flip the power switch back from the left side (OFF) to the right side (ON).

  4. Press the power button to turn the Clear Touch display back on.
