How a Reviewer Will Begin Their Evaluation of Applicants

When a reviewer logs into SurveyMonkeyApply, they will see pending reviews for either one or multiple programs they need to review.

Once a reviewer hits START on one of the Green buttons, they’ll be presented with their applicant list.

They can hit START on an individual’s application to begin the evaluation process. The evaluation will appear like the below image.

The left tab half has a few options.

A summary with name submission time

the actual application tab which will list the applicant’s responses to the prompts they were presented

The Reviews of a previous reviewer in the cases where there are 2 rounds of reviews and you can immediately see what the 1st round of reviews gave for their answers on the applicant selection for this application.

and Decision History, which is not relevant to either of our programs as of Fall 2023.

Once you’ve answered all questions, you can hit MARK COMPLETE

You can either go back to the main review board and see all applications (the ones that are completed now will have a green checkmark)

You can still modify your reviews up to the deadline. Once the deadline hits, that is the decision that will move onto the next round or determine what decision status the applicant will have in SMApply (Accepted/Waitlisted/Declined/etc.)
