Viewing Panopto Videos (for students)

This guide explains how to access and view class recordings shared with you through Panopto.

Instructions

Access a video via email

You may receive an email from Panopto informing you that a video or video folder has been shared with you. Click the link in the video to access the video.

Access video(s) on Panopto website

Login to Panopto

  1. Access Panopto at coursevideos.ncssm.edu or ncssm.hosted.panopto.com.

  2. Choose NCSSM Login.

 

Locate Video(s) on Panopto

Any of the below options can be used.

Option 1: Shared with me

  1. Use the Shared with Me link to open all videos shared with you.

  2. Sort by Date Shared to find videos shared recently.

  3. You can also use the search window or other sorting methods to locate specific videos.

 

Option 2: Browse All Folders

  1. Click the Browse link.

  2. Choose All Folders.

  3. Search for the name of the course folder.

Course folders start with the year, term, and program name. For example, a video from a 2020 course may be in a folder called, “2020-21 Durham Semester 1 – <COURSE TITLE>”

 

Option 3: Search all content

  1. Choose Everything

  2. Use the search bar to search for a specific video or folder.
