How to Connect and Disconnect from NCSSM's Eduroam Wi-Fi Network on iOS Devices.

Use the following instructions to connect to or disconnect from NCSSM's wireless (Wi-Fi or WiFi) network eduroam from your iOS device.

Note: If you have any existing eduroam wireless configurations, please remove them before using the instructions below to connect to NCSSM's eduroam network.

Warning: Turn off iCloud Private Relay. This is a feature of iCloud+ and is not supported on the NCSSM network. If you do not turn it off your iPhone or iPad will not work properly on the NCSSM network.

Instructions for connecting to eduroam

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Select Wi-Fi.

  3. Select the eduroam network.

  4. When prompted to enter your NCSSM credentials, enter:

    1. Username: YourNCSSMUsername@ncssm.edu

    2. Password: Your NCSSM Password

  5. If you are prompted to accept a certificate for the network, tap "Accept".

  6. You should now be connected to the eduroam network.

If you follow these instructions and still cannot connect first ensure that you've entered your email address as your username; next, check to see if there are any profiles on your device. For iOS devices go to Settings and then General. If there is a tab called Profiles go into that tab and click "Forget profile". If there are no profiles to be deleted please contact ITS.

If you follow these instructions and still cannot disconnect, please contact ITS.
