Blackbaud Invitations to Candidates and Logging into Blackbaud for the First Time

Candidates will receive an invitation at the email they entered on their NCSSM application to get into Blackbaud for the first time once the Application Cycle for the Class of 2027 is complete. It will look like this:

After hitting the ACCEPT INVITATION button, you’ll come to this screen:

For the Class of 2027, it is required that you use a Gmail or Apple account in order to get into our Student Information System. You will use that verification button corresponding with your email account of choice in order to sign into Blackbaud for the first time with your Apple/Gmail Account. You can simply hit the Continue with Google or Continue with Apple button to immediately get to your Checklist page.

You are now finished with this. Please note that Yahoo, MSN, etc. email addresses will no longer let you log into Blackbaud. A Google or Apple account is necessary in order to access the system.

NOTE: On Gmail, it’s been noted some of these automated invitations go to the Promotions folder of Gmail. Please be sure to check your Promotions folder if utilizing Gmail and follow the instructions below to make the NCSSM Communication land in your inbox:

Your various inbox categories - Primary, Social, Forums, Promotions and Updates collectively make up your inbox. So, in essence the emails are being delivered to your inbox, just not under the right category. 

To correct, you can just drag and drop one such message from Promotions to Primary and click Yes on the confirmation black box for all future messages.
