Registering for QM Training Sessions

Login to MyQM

  1. Visit the “MYQM” website at https://qmprogram.org/myqm. Login with your NCSSM email address and QM password (may be different from your NCSSM password).

  2. If you do not remember your password, choose Forgot Password?

  3. If you have never created a QM account, select No, I am new here and create an account

If you have already completed the in-person APPQMR training (Applying the Quality Matters Rubric) NCSSM provided a few years ago, then you have an account. Choose the “forgot password” option to reset your password and login using your NCSSM email.

Registering for Workshops

The MyQM website has been extremely slow lately. Please allow up to a few minutes for each page to load when registering. It may appear as if the site is not working, but it will eventually load each page.

  1. Choose the Higher Education tab at the top of the page. (You may have to use the right or left-facing arrows).

     

  2. Open the Workshop - Register menu and select QM Training.

     

Choose your session

  1. Choose Online under the “Filter by Training Formats”

  2. Use the Filter button to filter out all except online sessions.

  3. Use the pull-down menu to select the correct workshop.

The workshop(s) you should register for were in an earlier email sent to you. Different sessions were recommended to each person, based on their experience with QM. If you have any questions about which session you should register for, please email caldwell@ncssm.edu.

The sessions you should choose from are:

  • Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR)

  • Peer Review Course (PRC)

  • Improving Your Online Course (IYOC)

  • Designing Your Online Course (DYOC)

  • K-12 Flip the Switch: Motivate Learners with Course Tools and Tech

Please note, except for the K12 Flip the Switch Course, all courses should be the Higher Ed version and not the K-12 version. K-12 workshops all start with K-12 in their title.

Pick a time

  1. Click the Register link next to the session you wish to take. Be sure to sign up for a session when you will have time (up to 12 hours a week for the Peer Review Course).

  2. Be sure the workshop still has availability.



  3. Read the workshop details. If it is the correct session, choose to register at the bottom of the page.

     

  4. Agree to the Cancellation/Refund policy.

     

  5. Type in your NCSSM email address and choose to Search Accounts.



  6. Choose Invoice as your payment method, and choose Proceed to payment information.

     

Payment Info

  1. Choose Institution as the party responsible for payment.

  2. Enter the invoice number in the “payment instructions” box. Be sure to indicate this is an invoice number.
